Learn about the intricate art of basket weaving from Tina Puckett, a National and International award winning, master weaver and artist. Tina’s classes offer teens and adults, of all abilities, an opportunity to build artistic skills and explore creative ideas. These intimate classes will ensure individual direction where participants will learn new skills while enhancing their appreciation and understanding of the natural world of bittersweet and reeds. You will learn to weave a small bowl  from bittersweet vine or wooden hoops and a choice of hand colored, custom reeds.

Join our Paper-Making Workshop with Britt Garth, founder of Wilder Earth Studio, and learn how to make paper from plants! The class will start with an overview of the extensive process, detailing every step from finding and harvesting plants, to drying finished sheets of paper. Attendees will be able to make their own sheets of paper in this hands-on workshop. The paper from this workshop is made from an invasive species of plants growing rampant in Connecticut.
